Each year, there are an estimated 263 million malaria cases around the world.
Nearly 600-thousand deaths in 83 countries - a majority of them in Africa.
For decades, scientists and governments have poured billions of dollars into trying to eradicate the moquito-borne disease.
But a new report from the African Leaders Malaria Alliance is warning that after years of progress...funding cuts are threatening to unleash the worst resurgence ever.
The report says without significant investment, outbreaks will get worse, and cause nearly a million additional deaths by 2030.
So, what will it take to end malaria — for good?
