Third day of Hajj: Pilgrims gather for symbolic ‘stoning of the devil’
More than 1.6 million Muslims have arrived in Mina outside the holy city of Mecca on the third day of hajj as part of the annual pilgrimage. Some of the rites they perform have roots going back to the time of Prophet Abraham, the Patriarch of Monotheism.
