Tensions are escalating between Pakistan and India following the killing of 26 tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir on Tuesday.
New Delhi is blaming Islamabad, which has denied any involvement.
Islamabad has stated that any Indian threat to its sovereignty will be met with “firm reciprocal measures.” It is suspending trade, closing its borders, and expelling Indian defence, navy, and air force advisers.
This comes after a raft of sanctions imposed by New Delhi in response to the attack.
A short time ago, India announced the suspension of all visas issued to Pakistani nationals, who have been ordered to leave the country within five days.
Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder joins us by phone on Pakistan's reaction from Pakistan’s Haripur district.
And for more on India’s position, journalist Neha Poonia joins us from New Delhi to discuss the latest developments.
