Los Angeles has entered its second night of curfew as protests against immigration raids continue. The city is on edge, with hundreds of military personnel stationed nearby in case demonstrations escalate. Thousands of National Guard troops have been deployed to the area, controversially sent by the President without the Governor's approval. Additionally, 700 marines are on standby outside the city, outnumbering US forces in both Iraq and Syria combined. Local officials express concern over the potential impact of military presence on the streets, with the Marines expected to be deployed as early as Thursday. Meanwhile, California is engaged in a legal battle to regain control of the National Guard from federal authorities. Al Jazeera's Phil Lavelle reports from Los Angeles, California.
