Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital struggles as Israeli troops fire on hungry aid-seekers
The Israeli military has ordered new evacuations in central Gaza, forcing Palestinians toward al-Mawasi, a so-called "safe zone" still facing regular attacks.
Leaflets dropped over Deir el-Balah demanded immediate departures, including from areas housing aid clinics and warehouses.
Ongoing Israeli strikes killed nearly 90 Palestinians on Sunday alone, with six more dying near a contested aid distribution point in the south.
In northern Gaza, troops fired on crowds waiting for food trucks, leaving dozens dead or wounded.
At al-Shifa Medical Complex, victims arrived on carts after being shot while queueing for flour near Zikim area, overwhelming under-resourced hospitals.
