Aid may be trickling into Gaza, but healthcare workers warn it may be too little, too late. Israel has imposed a blockade on Gaza since March - limiting the amount of food allowed in. Many Palestinians are now suffering from acute malnutrition and doctors say some of the effects are irreversible. Al Jazeera’s Ibrahim al-Khalili reports from Gaza City, Palestine. Medical staff in Gaza’s hospitals are now seeing babies so severely malnourished “without muscles and fat tissue, just the skin over the bone,” the director of paediatrics and maternity at Nasser Hospital, Dr Ahmed al-Farra, tells Al Jazeera.
