In Gaza City, where daily hardships persist amid ongoing challenges, a local cafe has become a gathering point for football fans to watch El Clasico. Despite the lack of electricity, which has forced spectators to rely on mobile phones for streaming, the spirit of camaraderie and passion for the sport remains unbroken. Fans cheer for their favourite teams, with some predicting victory for Barcelona despite Real Madrid leading 1-0. The cafe, previously destroyed in the war, has been rebuilt using basic materials such as wooden poles and plastic sheets. The owner shared how a Bein Sport device and a screen were set up for the event, only for electricity to cut out, prompting the use of mobile devices to continue watching the match. These small moments of normalcy bring joy and unity to a community that continues to endure significant adversity. Al Jazeera's Hani Mahmoud reports from Gaza City, Palestine.
