Nobel Prize for Chemistry: 3 scientists win prize for metal-organic frameworks

            Three scientists from Japan, Australia, and the US have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar Yaghi were recognised for the development of metal-organic frameworks. Their constructions can be used to harvest water from desert air, capture carbon dioxide, and store toxic gases.
